Sarawak To Build More Industrial Parks

KUCHING  — Sarawak, in addition to providing business premises to entrepreneurs, will build more industrial parks to cater to the needs of investors as well as the small, medium entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.

Its Minister of Industrial Development, Entrepreneur and Investment, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, said eight industrial parks, with an allocation of RM141.8 million, had been approved.

“The parks in Demak Laut, Kapit and Marudi Industrial Park are in various stages of implementation while land acquisition is being carried out by the Land and Survey Department for sites in Bau, Sri Aman, Lundu, Betong and Sebuyau,” he said.
